The Young President’s Organization, also known as YPO, is a highly respected organization featuring the biggest business leaders in the world.
It usually holds several events each year with the aim of helping shape young minds to be successful not only in their respective industries but in all aspects of their lives.

About YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization)
YPO is an organization comprised of CEOs, managing directors, company presidents, and the like. You must hold a leadership position within your company to qualify for membership.
The organization brings these people together to help them be more successful in work and life through different events and networking opportunities around the world.
Together, members share their knowledge, perspectives, and culture. Most of them meet like-minded people along the way who become lifelong friends. It’s a fun place for networking with new people and finding rare opportunities.
YPO Events
YPO events are held regionally, nationally, and internationally. The main objective of these events is to give peers facing similar challenges and opportunities in their respective organizations the opportunity to exchange information and support one another.
The YPO stresses confidentiality, which enables members to openly discuss business issues and personal matters. This ethos of information-sharing has been critical in establishing the organization’s unique value proposition.

YPO Ask the Experts
YPO Ask the Experts events are published on its YouTube channel and feature organization members giving their take on specific topics. Being that speakers are prominent members of the business community, they’re able to provide insights that aspiring business leaders would find valuable.

YPO Converge
YPO Converge is a YPO-exclusive networking event that brings members together to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Each event has a theme and takes place at different locations around the world.

Each Converge event has its own topic. In 2022, the topics were:

It’s a multi-day event, so members have ample time to meet and connect with other attendees.

The goal of the annual Global Leadership Conference or GLC is to improve the leadership capabilities of the organization’s members and help forge lasting connections. These events feature speakers who happily share their knowledge so others might learn from them.

YPO Iconic Events
In 2022, the Young President’s Organization unveiled its newest portfolio of events called Iconic Events.
Not your average leadership gathering, these are unique travel journeys that provide members and their families with immersive, cultural experiences around the globe. Participants enjoy bespoke adventures that are deeply engaging and aim to change their perspective of the world.
Topics:
They’re called Iconic events because you’ll visit iconic locations around the world. The pillars of Iconic events are:
- Beyond: Travel beyond your every day to new locations
- Engage: Engage with locals as a local
- Select: Enjoy select, behind-the-scenes experiences not available to the masses
- Touch: Fully immerse yourself through touch, taste, smell, sight and feel
Location:
The events change regularly and are only available to YPO members. Past events included a family safari in Africa, a helicopter tour over Hawaii’s hidden gems, and tours of ancient temples. The goal is bespoke ventures to immerse yourself in world culture and embrace the extraordinary.

YPO Cost
Before the costs, you should first understand the requirements for joining the YPO.
You need to be under 45 years old to join. You must also be in a leadership position in your company or business. That business needs at least 50 or a combination of 15+ full-time employees and a minimum of $2.5 million in annual employee compensation.

The company’s revenue also needs to be more than $15 million if it’s in the sales, service, or manufacturing sector. If you’re running an agency, you must make at least $12 million, and financial institutions must earn $300 million or more.
If the company isn’t generating that much, it should have at least a $25 million enterprise value.
As for the costs, it would depend on your age and chapter location.
To start, there is an initiation fee. This is a one-time cost that costs anywhere between $3,000 and $4,000. Annual dues (billed monthly) can range from $3,000 to $6,000 monthly.
Local chapters also have their own fees to help run events and support its other initiatives. These are also billed monthly and range from $2,000 to $7,000.
